What size units do you have?

Place For Your Stuff offers 5’, 10’, and 20’ units. If you require a larger unit but none are available, we can offer multiple smaller units, side by side, for the price of a larger unit. Please contact us for further information.

Do I need to bring my Padlock for my storage unit?

Yes, please bring your lock at the time of move in. We are not liable for any stolen property if you do not have a lock on your unit.

Do I need storage insurance?

Yes, you do, but most home insurance policies cover your items in the storage unit. Please contact your insurance company to find out if you are covered.

Will my items be safe?

Place For Your Stuff has motion sensor security system installed all over the storage facility which records 24 hours a day and stores the video footage.

What if I'm late making my payment?

Please contact us if you cannot make a payment on time. If the amount is late, you will be locked out from your unit until you have paid the balance owing.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishable are not allowed to be stored in units. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we do not require any long-term commitment.

Can I reserve a storage unit?

Yes, you can reserve your storage unit in advance here.

When can I move in?

If there is an available unit which suits your storage needs, you can move in at any time.

Can I park my RV or car on site?

No, we do not offer RV or car storage.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gate?

No, you will receive the security passcode that will allow you 24hrs/7-day access to your unit when you sign up for a new unit.

How much notice do I have to give when I need to vacate my rental unit?

Invoices are automatically sent out monthly. Please notify us of your move out date 7 days prior to your billing date to not be charged for the next billing period. Your unit must be emptied the day before your billing date.

If I forget my gate access code, what do I do?

Do you have climate-controlled storage units?

No, our drive up storage units are located outside and allow for you to pull a vehicle directly up to your storage unit to load and unload.
